Dear Friend,
I found a familiar ring in your quest to meet and date a God-Fearing Christian Man. I also ask this question of those I interact with.."Do you know what it is you seek?" "Do you know what it is in your heart?" Amazingly, I have found that many haven't any idea what it is they seek other than they know they do not want to be alone. I also find that there is a familiar theme among members, that God will amazingly provide a spouse for us if we just sit around and wait and be patient for God to act. In my opinion, nothing could be further than the truth. The scriptures teach us that God helps those who help themselves. I think God brings people into our lives at various different times in our life for a multitude of reasons, it is our choice through free-will who we decide to date or not date. It is our choice if we decide to learn and grow from the interaction of this person (s) or if this person might lead us down a path we would rather not take. It is only through faith and trust that the Holy Spirit can guide us and help us to make the decisions that will take us where we desire to go. If we don't have a spiritual destination, then how do we go about choosing a mate? Unfortunetely, Satan through his manipulation and heathen ways, has influenced the human race so radically that even professed Christians are unsure of their destination and have chosen to not rely on God but on their own merit in choosing a life/eternal partner. This has not served human kind very well and is well illustrated by the destruction and deteriation of the most beautiful union: Marriage. I hope and pray that you will keep your eyes on the Lord and allow the Holy Spirit to guide you in you quest for a life partner. Perhaps you are not ready to receive such a marvelous blessing yet. Sometimes things aren't always what they seem and sometimes God has molding to do in order for us to receive His most grand blessings. I pray for you and all those on this sight that they might find comfort from these words...

My fellow christian friends. I just would like to know or ask do we really know what we want? I know personally that I've prayed, am praying have waited on God and am waiting. What I find interesting that for me there is a level of trust with fellow christians, I feel that we perhaps are called to be better individuals.
Newly seeking to date seriously I've found that matters of the heart are mere daily casuals for some. Seems biblicial principles are thrown out the window. This is not aimed at any one person or incident, but just to get input on what it is we as single christians really seek, what we are really giving. I don't want to hurt anyone, pretend to care about anyone, manipulate for personal gain, but to have a relationship based on love and God's plan for the institution of marriage. I don't want to be judged as being "too saved", or not saved enough. What are our standards? I'm just finding the last year that I attemped to actively date that trusting and continuing to wait on the Lord is the avenue for me.
Men what is it that you want from us?
Women what are we to do, what do we want from men?
I've met so many men who are afraid a woman either wants citizenship or a man with a 6-figure salary, are afriad women will trap them with lots of babies......
Me, I just want a decent saved/converted christian man to enjoy and abundant life with. No 50/50 but 100% all the time. Just love.
