Cowboy Jim's prayer meeting requests for 3-26-07
Faithehope requests prayer for her daughter Mel, as her mid term exams are coming up.
CynthiaJoy requests prayer as she's applied to be an apartment manager, and for peace and protection, and for financial assistance from her church.
vernakay seeks prayer for her mom who's been having chest pains, and and for her strength in dealing with vernakays children, whom she watches,and is usally assisted by her other daughter (vernakay's sister), while the other daughter will not be there for 2 weeks.
Hoovie requests that his cousin forgives him and again calls him, so that he can continue ministering to him.
TAD seeks prayer as the guys at work have been getting VERY rough to deal with, and he needs for the Lord to direct him in new approaches in dealing with these kids.
TAD also requested prayer for carsr4girls children as they've been misbehaving. There are many of us whose children have been misbehaving terribly lately, so I would like to add both mine, and vernakay's children, and for any other's whose children have been going down the wrong path lately.. that they be drawn by the Lord, and that they allow Him to direct their paths. Also, please keep the parents in prayer as they deal with, and discipline and direct these wayward children.

Marlela seeks prayer for her 19 yr old son Lars to be drawn to God instad of the way he's been going... especially while she goes away to Ca to help her daughter as she is going thru an unplanned pregnancy while going to school.
carsr4girls requests prayer for Gods guidance and assistance with the college thing.

onesnowflake requests prayer for all those who will be looking for jobs now that school is about to come to a close for the year; and for both ell and bamalady as we've not seen them in chat in quite some time; and for all those trying to quit smoking, that they are able to do so with no setbacks, and no cravings, or desires for that habit. She also seeks prayer for all those suffering from depression at
this time of year; and for ellamia --that she listens to the docs and gets needed rest. She's also asked us to keep her brother and his wife in prayer as they make a change in their ministry.
babsi requests prayer for her son that he be given a job and again, be able to pay his rent.

A few days ago, onesnowflake had informed us that her grandson Ethan and 4 others from his daycare, all aged 4 & 5, had contracted scarlet fever. Yesterday, she updated and told us that both Ethan and Tyler had broken their fevers, but that the other boys still have not. Please pray that none suffer any major lasting complications from this illness, and that all be given a speedy recovery.
For all those who've not yet heard: My mammogram and sonogram results came back A, OK, PRAISE GOD!!! I've been referred for a chest x-ray so we can find out what's causing all this pain in my right lung. I also went to the ENT, and when he ck'd my ears he said that the pain in my right ear was NOT from an infection, PRAISE GOD, but after further examination, he diagnosed me with TMJ, and has referred me to an oral surgeon for that. While there, he also tested my hearing and said that I have a moderately severe hearing loss, which was no surprise,since I've been hearing impaired since birth. Due to all the pains and probs with my jaw, and chest, the ENT gave me an antihistamine nasal spray, and my PCP has me on 800mg ibuprofen, and Guaifenex (a decongestant). In addition to the ibuprofen, I am also sleeping on a heating pad at nite. That subdues the pain somewhat, but at times it can be unbearable.. especially if
I bite down on a hard piece of food. Please keep me in prayer that the pain not get so bad that I cannot handle it, and for the tests and exams to be scheduled and treatment be
given in an expedient fashion.
